2 1/2 cups all purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon sea salt
1 cup granulated sugar
2 big eggs
1 cup chopped pretzels
Sea salt, for sprinkling on biscuits
- In a medium bowl, whisk together cocoa, flour, baking soda, and sea salt.
- With a mixer, cream butter and sugars until smooth.
- Slowly add flour mixture and beat until combined. Stir in chocolate chips and the pretzel sections.
- Form the biscuit dough into balls, about 2 tablespoons of dough. Set a caramel piece in the middle of the dough ball, making sure the caramel is fully covered by the biscuit dough. This can stop the caramel from oozing out in the oven. Put on prepared baking sheet.
